"Trust me, I don't make this stuff up!"

Aloha Marc and Karen,

This is Sasha from the Alaska Group that very much enjoyed your bike tour while we were in Maui (Dec. 30th trip). We have been raving to everyone we meet and hopefully, youÕll get reservations from a couple coworkers of mine. I hope to return with my husband for your bike trip at a future date. Thanks for the colorful, entertaining and amusing commentary (Marc and his several safety reminders as well as the Blue, Red, etc., Power Rangers on those HIDEOUS bikes in those HIDEOUS outfits Š thank you for not making us ride uncomfortable bikes wearing horrible clothes!). Thanks for the delicious lunch at the winery and the casual, unhurried pace of the biking, the touring and the meals. I especially enjoyed the casual bike down the country road (met a real sweet horse and took in some awesome scenery) where we stopped just outside OprahÕs new place. Must be nice to be able to buy all that land! We are all extremely happy that I found your tour on the web and it was worth every cent we paid. We wish you continued success so we can come back again and again and again.

Mahalo!

Marc and Karen,

Just a note to thank you for another great ride. It was our first anniversary on September 17. We got married in Makena Cove last year and took your tour. Your activity was the only one we repeated this year. Thanks for a great time and Lunch at the Winery. See you soon

Hi Marc & Karen,

Wanted to drop you a note expressing our thanks and telling you what a blast your bike tour was. I was the one apprehensive about riding down the Volcano. You and Karen both encouraged me telling me I could do it. On the ride up to the starting area, I was still concerned but after taking the first turn, I realized I could do this and what a blast it was! Both Bob and myself still talk about the trip. For him to bike the 33 miles was quite an accomplishment. He is not a biker and has not riden for several years and had no troulbe at all. Your bikes are the most comfortable and your tour of letting us go at our own pace was the reason I chose you over "go fast down the mountain" of the others. Your Hawaiian hospitality was outstanding and your food was delicious. At the end of the ride to be given a perpermint towel was an extra treat.

I opted to bike the extra mile up ride. Yes it was challenging but I DID IT!

Thanks again for an outstanding tour. I have the pictures of our group, the beautiful sites along the way and the memory of an extraordinary day on Maui. I will tell everyone that if they choose one bike tour - they should choose yours. Aloha Bike Tours was the absolute Best!

P.S. If anyone is apprehensive - tell them to e-mail me and I will answer them @ Ldyrunr3@aol.com

Marc and Karen,

Thanks for the great ride in upcountry Maui!! I was just thrilled not to have joined the Power Rangers for my trip down the mountain. Your website is fantastic, by the way. Of course, all of the things you mention are so much more familiar now. Hey, I did enjoy the optional uphill climbs, even though I did get a little beat down on the first hill. That was the most physical activity I had in Hawaii, which of course, is a good thing when one indulges every day.

I will recommend you to anyone I know going to Maui.

Take care,

Marc & Karen,

I just wanted to thank you and your wife. My husband and I had a great time on your bike tour. It has been two months and a lifetime since our visit to Maui. We were on your tour on September the 4th. I can't help but to think back to our wonderful vacation on Maui and the bike tour we took with you and think about how free I felt riding that bike down the volcano and across the wonderful countryside of Maui. Little did we know that in just one week all of our lives would be forever changed. I think I appreciate our trip even more now than I did at the time. My husband Barry and I were in New York on business on September 11th and as we were trying to get home( via a 17hr bus ride) our thoughts turned to our time on Maui. We wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your professionalism and dedication to your business. We went back to Haleakala the day after our tour and we kept seeing one of the other tour companies speeding downhill in their "power ranger" gear and the leaders doing stupid stunts on their bikes. We are very happy that we choose Aloha Bicycle Tours and we will recommend you to everyone we know that is vacationing on Maui as the only bicycle tour anyone should even consider.

Dear Marc & Karen,

I am sure you will receive more emails from my family, we all had a fabulous time on our Aloha Bike Tour. It was one of the most personal and friendly bike tours I have ever been a part of. The whole day was a great adventure and full of special Maui moments. I think it was one of the best ways to view the island.

We also wanted to thank you for the helpful hint for the sunrise on top of Haleakala. Your secret spot past mile marker 17 was very isolated. We were the only group there for a great sunrise. After seeing all of the other vans and cars on the top, we appreciated the inside scoop.

Thanks, once again, from the Draper family.

Aloha Marc,
Just wanted to send you a short message letting you & Karen know how much the Kirwans & the Robinsons enjoyed our bike trip down the mountain.

I know you both see so many tourists that you can't remember them all but we had a wonderful time. For me, the bike ride was THE most enjoyable activity we participated in for our whole 2 weeks in Maui.

You & Karen are doing things right!!! Keep up the good work. Those cold, wet, peppermint scented washcloths at the end are a definite keeper!!!!!

Thank you both so much for doing a wonderful job - the bikes were very comfortable and well worth every penny you spent on acquiring them! Your words of wisdom, the safety briefing, helping us fit the helmets correctly even the words of advise about doing the "optional" one mile uphill were right on the money. Though I do feel very proud for completing the "optional" one mile uphill w/o getting off my bike - even though I was next to last to finish. I guess those spinning classes did help!!! :-)

The scenery was outstanding and I'd love to have done the whole trip over again the next day!!!! I just loved it so much.

Please don't change a thing - we hope to come back again next year and you can be 100% sure we'll have a reservation for "biking down the volcano" with Aloha Tours!!!!!

We even told others that we met that yours was the best!!!!

Aloha and.... mahalo for some wonderful memories!!!!

Hi Marc and Karen,

We went on your bike tour Tues. May 2, what an awesome experience for a couple of old folks. We were there for our 39th wedding anniversary and we even met someone on our tour who newly married on the same day 4-28. This was a wonderful bike tour, really just great for us the pace was great even though we were bringing up the rear. You had a wonderful amount of patience with us and we never felt rushed or hurried. The winery was lovely and Karen was a great hostess with a wonderful Lunch that really hit the spot, Hope you guys never change a thing, we hope to come back with our kids (they're your age) next year on our 40th and we will definetly be taking them on this tour.

Thank you so much, for everything!

Aloha Karen (and Marc),

First of all thanks a whole bunch for the Bike Tour the other day. After 10 years of being here on Maui, I'm so glad that it took a friend visiting to get me out there and to find such a great tour. It is the best tour and you know it! I have been raving about it to the locals and those who have frequent guest! Your success is well earned.

Thanks,

Dear Marc and Karen,
Myles and I wanted to tell you how much we really enjoyed your bike tour. We're not experienced cyclists and felt that Marc gave us great advice on how to take the turns, watch out for the cars and buses, and how to use the bikes to their best advantage. He also gave us a bit of Maui history and insight into the activities on the island.

The periodic rest stops were great....coming just in time before we felt we were desperate for a break.

The picnic lunch Karen hosted was a welcome and very tastey treat after the mornings' bike ride. The Tedeshi Winery is a lovely venue.

We'll defnitely give your tour 2 thumbs up to all our friends visiting the Island of Maui!!

Thanks again and best wishes to you and your family.

Dear Marc and Karen:

We just returned to our home in Michigan after a full 8 days in Maui with the rest of our family (The Freeburnes). As we sit here reminiscing about the trip we keep going back to our favorite part...Your Bike Trip.

Thanks so much for your professionalism and kindness as we rode down the mountain. We were the slow family taking many, many pictures and you kept re-assuring us that it was alright to take our time. The food was very good, the bikes were excellent, and the Maui scenery was awesome. Our pictures turned out great!

We are planning to return to Maui in a couple of years to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and we will definitely make your tour a part of our trip.

Dear Marc and Karen:

Thank You for a wonderful time! I was very impressed with your professionalism, emphasis on safety, excellent equipment, preparation, terrific tasty lunch, and the most beautiful scenery chosen for the ride.

May I also include your fun sense of humor. While my husband rode in the van -- I tremedously enjoyed the myself and cannot thank you enough for the highlight of our trip. I would do it again in a heartbeat and look forward to someday repeating the experience. Anyone I know visiting Maui, I will definitely recommend that they experience your bike ride. Keep up the great work!

Aloha-

Just wanted to let you know our ride down the volcano and out to the winery was such a fun day. You definitely delivered exactly what was advertised. The snacks and lunch were great and we didn't feel rushed at all. The bikes handled well. Especially the brakes! The price was right too! Of all the activities we enjoyed during our vacation in Hawaii, the bike ride is the one thing we plan to repeat on our next trip. Thanks again!

We just wanted to let you know how much fun we had on our "Bike Tour" - It was truly memorable. You've got a first class business going - Hopefully one day we'll get to come back and ride again - until then.

Marc & Karen-

We just got home from our trip and wanted to thank you both for a fantastic bike tour. We did your tour on Friday, April 21 and had a great time. The last time we were in Maui we did the sunrise tour with Maui Downhill and would definitely recommend your tour over any other. We really liked the fact that we could go at our own pace and enjoy the scenery instead of being hurried down and not able to stop when we wanted to take pictures. Also, we really appreciated the personalized attention that we got on your tour; it was obvious that you both really care about making your tour the best!!

Thanks again, and see you the next time we go to Maui.

Marc,

We wanted to thank you for the wonderful bike tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Maui!! The scenery was breathtaking. The bikes were absoulutely the most comfortable bikes we have ever ridden.

Your knowledge of this beautiful island lent a great deal to the trip. Flying down the volcano was quite a rush. The food was wonderful and we really enjoyed touring the winery, tasting the wine and purchasing some for our return trip to Mascoutah, Illinois. (close to St.Louis, Mo)

Thanks again for making our vacation wonderful. When we return to Maui, your tour will be one thing we want tp repeat! It was great and I can't stop talking about it !!

Thanks again,

PS> Thanks for bearing with us when we arrived late - your wife was very helpful on the phone !

Greetings from Winnipeg, CANADA:

Thanks Marc and Karen for another enjoyable day. We loved this ride, our second, just as much as the first, as we discovered more about your island along the way.

Although everything was terrific, we especially appreciated: the breakfast at the park beforehand to get acquainted with the other riders Marc's knowledgeable, personable and patient roadside manner; he answered a million questions ranging from flowers to roadkill! the camera cases on the new, even more comfy bikes the leisurely pace - we never felt hurried and we had the chance to tailor the trip, stopping where and when we wanted (even if it did take me 15 minutes to get the perfect picture of that 'Bird of Paradise' flower!) the planned stops along the way: the flower farm (great Christmas ornaments), the lookout, the art gallery beside Ching's, the winery the helpful hints from both of you on other activities the COLD facecloths at the end of the ride the bountiful, delicious lunch (especially loved the breads and the POG Karen)

Only 48 weeks until we see you again! Have a great year!

Dear Marc and Karen:

It is now over a month since our return from Maui. I'm so glad we picked your bike tour. It was fun and exhilarating, great both for an out-of-shape geezer like me and a teenager like Andy. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Karen, your recommendations for viewing the dawn also were excellent!

Sincerely,
Norm Green

Marc and Karen:

Greetings from Toronto.

Was in process of putting next Thanksgiving's return trip to Maui together and realized that we had not sent you an e-mail thanking you for a wonderful adventure on our first full day of married life last November. The day with you both and our fellow companions was one to remember. We could sense that you look on your work as more than business but rather as a chance to share family and a perspective on slowing down to enjoy the pleasures of your great island. We hope to repeat our downhill ride next fall when we return but must also work off those things that we did not have time for last November.

I hope the New Year finds you all well.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Marc Friezner:

I wanted to take this time to let you & your wife know that Lisa & myself had the most memorable time. Your professionalism & knowledge of Maui made the bike trip more meaningful. I love mountain biking here in Phoenix & was great to experience biking at a different location. If fact to think I was on the beautiful Island of Maui in the middle of the Pacific Ocean was hard to get used to the idea. The Trek bikes (including gloves & helmet) were in tip top shape, a good feeling while coming down 10,023 ft. high Haleakala. I would like to upgrade my bike with the same kind of brakes. Lisa was off to a slow start, but became a Maui pro after a few miles of riding. This was her way of feeling comfortable & a test of me being patient since I wanted nothing to do with pavement. I wanted to go straight down off the mountain through the terrain. I had fun watching her have fun. Isn't that what new husbands are supposed to do?

Your wife did a great job setting up lunch underneath that huge Camphor Tree at the Winery. It was a nice refresher from the ride. The Winery is a great resting spot for your customers. While at the winery we were able to take a tour, taste some good wine & buy 6 bottle of wine. This was a great time to calm down from the ride. The winery had a interesting history producing fantastic wine. The grounds & trees surrounding the winery was worth the ride. The view looking down out to Molokini Island was breathtaking.

I would recommend your company anyone going to Maui to experience what you have to offer. I do have a friend coming to Maui here in a few weeks during the New Years. I will be giving him your name & phone. Not sure what his plans are as far as bike riding, but I will recommend Aloha Tours to him. We both work @ Honeywell, play soccer & mtn. bike here in Phoenix together. Lisa & myself plan on coming to Maui again in a year for our anniversary. We will possibly be coming with 2 other couples that have also recently married. I would like to have everyone take the tour Bike trip & tour the winery. The fact you are one of the only companies to ride out to the winery is great. I would rather go there than just ride down hill towards the Ocean.

Thanks again for your hospitality & kindness. You both did an outstanding job in customer service.

Sincerely,
Craig Furst

Marc and Karen,

Greetings from Toronto.

Thank you for the hospitality that you provided during our bike tour with you. You have reminded us why we prefer to deal with an owner/operator. Your interest in your customers' safety and satisfaction was readily apparent. We had a terrific time taking in the beautiful views during the ride. Maui may well be the closest place to paradise that we have seen yet.

Dear Marc and Karen,

Here it is November and we still have not thanked you! We were remembering our trip to Maui in September and wanted to thank you for the wonderful time we had! What a delight to ride our bikes in areas we probably would not have found on our own. We still remember the wonderful smells and the gorgeous scenery. You truly have a top notch thing going there! If you are ever in Oregon, give us a call, we have some great biking around here, too!

Thanks again,
Ken & Kay Kolp

Dear Marc and Karen,

I had to write to you as soon as we returned to RAINY Oregon to thank you both so much for a wonderful time! When it was suggested by me that we ride down the side of a mountain on our relaxing vacation, everyone agreed, but all were wondering what I could possibly be thinking...

We were in Maui for another 8 days after the bike ride and we did not stop talking about it! We have the fondest of memories (MY memory is mainly of the "optional one mile" that I couldn't let my 60 year-old dad do while I was sitting in the van--I would never have heard the end of it!). The bikes were extremely comfortable, the food was great (the deli sandwiches were WONDERFUL!), and the views were spectacular. Mostly, we were so impressed with the service we received from the two of you, and it was amazing at how organized you were! You really have this down to a tee! We very much appreciated the safety instructions, the fact that you watched out for us to make sure no cars were coming, and we really enjoyed all of the information you gave us about the area on our way UP to Haleakala.

Your company came recommended to us, and we will definitely recommend it to others (we already recommended you to several new "friends" we made during the remainder of our vacation!).

Once again, thank you...you were the hilight of our vacation!

Best Regards,
Pam & Glen Nold, Jan Cox, Bob and Sandy Murray

Marc & Karen:

Thank you for such a great time on THE BEST bike tour during our honeymoon last month. Katie and I enjoyed the ride and your hospitality. The bike ride was one of the highlights of our honeymoon and we will always remember it.

We highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Hawaii.

You kick butt,
Dave & Katie

Marc,

I just wanted to say thanks for making the Aloha Bicycle Tour the highlight of my Maui vacation! We did a lot of great things on Maui but the bike ride was by far my favorite activity on the beautiful island of Maui! I will recommend your bike tour to all of my friends that go there.

I am so glad I did your bike tour over the others. After watching the "Power Rangers" whiz down Haleakala packed tightly between their guides and their touring van, I realized how nice it was to be allowed to ride at our own pace and take the corners as fast (or as slow) as we liked. I really liked the new Trek mountain bikes. And the ride to the winery was a nice ending to a wonderful tour.

Thank you so much for making the bike ride a truly enjoyable and fun experience.

Aloha Marc & Karen!

Just a quick note to say thanks for showing us a great time on Maui. We just got our pictures back and had some wonderful pictures of our bike tour. I'm so glad I found your website before we headed to Maui. Your bikes and helmets were first class! We really appreciated your concern for our safety. It was also nice to know we could go at our own pace and stop as often as we liked (great photo ops). We are very active and this really helped keep us going. Don't change a thing!

Thanks again for a memorable experience.

We wish you well!

We totally enjoyed ourselves and appreciate the memories you have provided us. We look forward to our next visit to Maui.

Marc & Karen,

It is a tad unusual to take a vacation to Maui and propose to spend one of your precious days bicycling down the side of a mountain. Fortunately a college of mine had so highly recommended you, that more from curiosity than great desire my wife and I opted to try this out. Now you have to bare in mind that living in New York the only time you get out of your car is to view the 35th puncture, the splendid roads have given you. So to utilize a bicycle for transportation down the side of a volcano, is definitely not my first choice. But to both our surprise and delight we spent one of the most enjoyable days of our trip enjoying the scenery and splendor of Hawaii on the seat of a (very good) bike.

I could dwell on the professionalism, friendliness or stunning scenery your tour supplied to us, but would rather make one simple statement. You have achieved the perfect formula for a business, so please just don't change a thing.

With thanks!

Dear Marc,

It is hard to believe that just a week ago, my sister (Paula) and I were enjoying our incredible bike ride down Haleakala and through the Kula countryside.

Everything you promised in your website was TRUE....all the comments from former customers were TRUE....the trip was unbelievable.

Thanks for your attention to our safety and all the details that made this a trip Paula and I will NEVER FORGET!!!!!

Aloha!
